The 2022 Sony Open is currently underway in Hawaii and has had an enthralling start so far. The Waialae Country Club golf course in Honolulu is the host of the event. And after round two, Russell Henley leads the event with a score of -15, while the overnight leader Kevin Na dropped down to T16.

Meanwhile, the 2022 Sony Open in Hawaii has a total purse of $7.5 million. And the winner of the event will receive the standard 18 percent payout according to the PGA Tour’s prize money distribution chart. Additionally, apart from monetary benefits, there are quite a few other perks for the winner.

The winner of the event will receive 500 FedExCup points and 50 OWGR points. Furthermore, he will also get a two-season exemption on the PGA Tour and a place at the 2022 Masters and PGA Championship.
