The NBA saw some stellar action with two top teams going at it. The Milwaukee Bucks came out on top in their battle against the Philadelphia 76ers. With both MVP candidates, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid going at it, the Greek freak got the last laugh. After another dominating night at the office, Giannis blocked Embiid’s game-tying shot to seal the deal for Milwaukee. Likewise, NBA fans were all in favor of the Greek Freak after his remarkable play.
Both Embiid and Giannis are top MVP candidates in the league. As big men, they are bringing back the glory to the position posting dominating numbers. Embiid is having his best offensive year putting up 29.9 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists. On the other hand, Antetokounmpo is doing it on both ends. Averaging 29.9 points as well, he is also a top defender in the league.
His defensive ability came to show after he blocked his MVP rival and won the game for the Bucks.
Giannis Antetokounmpo denies Joel Embiid
With the game close at 118-116, the Sixers had the chance to win the game. However, James Harden missed on his three attempt. But Embiid positioned himself exceptionally well to grab the offensive board. He had an easy put-back before Giannis came in out of nowhere to spoil the party. He soared in for an unbelievable block on the Sixers center which sent fans into a frenzy.
The Greek Freak is putting on peak performances on both ends of the floor each night. His willingness to put it all on the line has seen him become one of the best players in the league. And suiting up against the Sixers, Giannis did no different.

Antetokounmpo single-handedly took for the Bucks. He amassed 40 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocks in yet another dominant display. Khris Middleton notched in 22 points and 7 assists. Jrue Holiday also had a valuable double double with 18 points and 10 assists to his name. The defending champions have shown their resolution to fight till the end. And with the playoffs around the corner, Giannis Antetkounmpo is elevating his game.
For the Sixers, their tri exploded once again. James Harden led the way with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists to his name. Joel Embiid was not far off contributing 29 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Moreover, Tobis Harris also had a stellar night with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Despite exceptional nights from the Philly trio, the Greek Freak put a stop to it all.
