Naomi Osaka is one of the emerging stars in the women’s game. The 4-time Grand Slam champion’s performances over the past couple of years has been highly impressive. Apart from that, the 24-year-old seems wise beyond her years as she often participates in various initiatives to help the underprivileged.
Recently, the Japanese star was doing a question-and-answer round with fans on social media. Naomi Osaka was asked an interesting question, the follower stated, “is it too late to start tennis at 14?”.
To which, the four-time Grand Slam winner had a motivating answer. She stated, “No. It’s never too late to do anything. Especially if it’s something your passionate about. I don’t even know why we as people started feeling the pressure of age as a restriction to pursue the things we want to do. Go for it.”
New positivity from Naomi Osaka
The reply from the 24-year-old was highly inspirational. She stated that it does not matter how old or young a person is, as long as an individual is really keen on doing something and remains dedicated, it will all end well.

During the season this year, Osaka faced issues with regard to mental health. She withdrew before her second-round match at the French Open. Naomi began the season brilliantly, winning the Australian Open but her struggle with mental health meant that she did not participate too often on the tour. After being eliminated from the US Open, Naomi decided to take an indefinite break from the sport.
Now that the season has ended, we hope to see a revitalized Naomi Osaka and wish to see her compete at her highest level. All eyes will be on her when she steps on the tennis courts once again.
