New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills to Face Off in Extremely Harsh Weather

The Wild Card game between the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills might be played in unforgiving conditions. The weather in Buffalo is hitting the extremely frigid end of the spectrum and will be a challenge for both teams. The post-season opener game on Saturday night is expected to be one of the coldest playoff games ever.

It seems that the city of Buffalo is never very welcoming to the Patriots. Earlier, when the two sides met in Buffalo during their Week 13 matchup the weather was too concerning for the two teams. However, then, it was the wind that seemed to be the unforgivable factor. While for Saturday night, it’s the cold wave and snow.

Yet the Bills Mafia, known to be the most supportive and rabid fans in the NFL, would make sure that their team is well backed and cheered. Even in the gruesome weather. As per AccuWeather, the temperatures might go well below zero Saturday night.

Temperatures plummet as the New England Patriots visit Buffalo Bills for the Wild Card game

“Although the lake-effect machine has been cranking recently around Buffalo, New York, no snow is in the forecast for Saturday night’s game, but bitter cold is a guarantee,” AccuWeather Meteorologist Renee Duff said“Temperatures are expected to remain around 3-4 F throughout the game, and while there won’t be much wind, a slight breeze will push AccuWeather RealFeel Temperatures below zero at times.”

With temperatures hitting single digits, low as 3-4 Fahrenheit. The game will be the second coldest Wild Card Game ever played in the NFL. The 2016 game between the Seahawks and the Vikings was the coldest at negative 6 F.

The Bills earlier this season lost their home game to the Mac Jones-led Patriots due to the unforeseen weather circumstances and lack of perfect tactics. In that game, the Patriots rush the ball since the wind was too strong for the throws to be precise. And the Patriots claimed the win with just two passes.

With the weather being just as cruel, yet differently. What tactics would the Bills and the Patriots use is yet to be seen? Whose side are you on? Let us know in the comments below!
