The former UFC welterweight contender, Mike Perry, was an absolute force during his prime days at the promotion. However, after losing seven of his last ten bouts at the UFC, Perry announced his exit from the promotion. ‘Platinum’ moved from the UFC to the Welterweight division of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
During his time with UFC, Mike Perry won the Fight of the Night award twice. He also won the performance of the night award for his bouts against Jake Ellenberger and Alex Reyes. His last UFC bout was earlier this year, in April. He took on Daniel Rodriguez and lost the fight following a unanimous decision. As of November 2021, his professional MMA record stands at 14 wins to 8 losses.
Mike Perry is now all set to get back to action at Triller’s latest combat sports venture, Triad Combat. Perry will be fighting this weekend and will be facing the American light heavyweight boxer, Michael Seals (25-3). The two opponents recently had a heated face-off against each other at the press conference ahead of their fight.

Mike Perry seemed very confident about his upcoming fight. “I’m gonna fu*k this dude up. I’m sure he’s coming after me, too. We both gonna throw that right hand. It’s Mike versus Michael and we’re gonna see who the better man is. But I know I trained hard as hell for this. I’m in the best shape of my life. I was most excited about this training camp just because I just got to focus on what I wanted to focus on,” said the former UFC contender.
“We’re gonna bleed. Motherf*ckers gonna get fucked up and somebody might die,” he added.
Whereas his opponent, Michael Seals, appeared calm and collected. He said, “You could talk. That’s good. I don’t do all that talk. I’m about to work…Y’all know what I do.”
Mike Perry vs Michael Seals: Prediction
