Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka has become a role model for thousands around the world at a very young age. She has displayed some amazing tennis over the past couple of seasons and has mesmerized one and all. Naomi’s off-court activities are also a major source of inspiration for people.
Recently, the Japanese ace engaged in a question-and-answer session with her fans on social media. During that session, there was an interesting question that caught notice.
‘Best cardio in the world’ Naomi Osaka on ballkids
One of the ball kids at the US Open, who was part of Naomi Osaka’s matches, had a compliment for the player. She called Osaka the nicest and the 24-year-old player was touched by the gesture.
She returned back the compliment and stated, “Thank you. Thank you guys for being out there with us for all those long matches and days. S/O to the ball kids that are literally out there for 2+ hours sprinting around in the heat with the masks on. You guys have the best cardio in the world.”
Speaking of Osaka’s association with the US Open, she won her first Grand Slam title in New York. She created history when she managed to beat Serena Williams in her first Grand Slam final. After that, she won the title again during the 2020 season.

Coming to this season, Naomi began the year on a great note, winning the Australian Open title. Thereafter, she faced issues with regard to her mental health. She withdrew before her second-round match at the French Open and skipped the Wimbledon Championships. Sadly, she was unable to defend her title at the US Open and faced an early exit.
We hope to see the Japanese star return to competing at the highest level, in the manner which we have been accustomed to. All eyes will be on her when she steps on the courts in 2022.
